Fitness nourishes your mind, body, and soul. I don’t think I ever fully understood what this actually meant until I started my training with Melissa Blair.

From a young age, I always struggled with my weight, my confidence, and just loving myself. I went through multiple eating disorders and bullying throughout high school and college and it got to the point where I was so scared to gain a pound that I passed out due to the fact that I was not eating. Once I graduated from college, I joined Blair’s Bootcamp and began my fitness journey; however, I still struggled with low confidence and loving myself. Approximately two months ago, I wanted to take my fitness journey to the next level and loose the last of that stubborn fat that I couldn’t seem to get rid of. So I asked the person who I knew could take me there to be my trainer, Melissa Blair; little did I know this one decision would be the best decision of my life. It only took one session with Melissa to get me hooked and completely change my world. Training with Melissa, doesn’t just make you physically stronger, she helps you get stronger mentally. She pushed me past my limits, changed my mentality and the way I see food, and made me see myself in a whole new light. Today, I look in the mirror and see someone who is stronger, dedicated, and who believes in herself both inside and outside the gym; and I owe all of that and more to Melissa.

I honestly truly cannot express enough how grateful and blessed I am to have Melissa in my life. Melissa helped me become who I am meant to be and she is honestly still helping me become that person because I still have a long way to go and a lot more to learn! The day Melissa became my trainer was not only the day I choose to have amazing workouts and change my body, it’s the day I gained the most amazing, inspirational, loving, caring friend and changed my life for the better.
